Certification:  All PAs are required to possess current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).  Recertification is required every 2 years.  In order to remain certified, PAs must complete 100 hours of continuing medical education every two years and take a recertification examination every 6 years.  Licensure:  In addition to NCCPA certification, a license as a PA from a U.S. State, the D.C., Commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction is required (personal services) or the State in which the MTF is location (non-personal services).  Actively practicing as a Board Certified Physician Assistant for the past three (3) years. All APAs shall have current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).  BLS  certification must be obtained through an American Heart Association and/or Red Cross approved training program and maintained in a current status at all times while performing services under this contract.  The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining and maintaining the necessary recertification.  Work ScheduleThe HCP PA shall be on duty at the SERE campus, eight hours per day, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.   The hours of coverage are from 0600 to 2400 hours.  The scheduled shifts within this period of coverage will be at the discretion of the SERE Physician whom shall be the PA’s immediate supervisor.  The total hours of routine service are 1920 hours per year.  The PAs shall have a 60 minute unpaid lunch period as scheduled by the supervisor.The “On-Call" requirements are as follows: the HCP shall be scheduled to provide on-call coverage as scheduled by the Supervisor.   The HCP will not be required to remain on site at Fort Rucker while providing on-call services, but must be able to be reached via telephone or pager and return to the SERE Training Facility within 30 minutes on a “call back" to provide services. Clinical Psychologist PositionSummaryContract service provider shall hold a Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program and must have completed an APA approved clinical or counseling psychology internship. QualificationsLicensure/Certification/Registration:  Must have and maintain a current license to practice Clinical or Counseling Psychology in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands that allows for the independent practice of clinical services.   Must be license-eligible by the Alabama Board of Examiners in Psychology, and must obtain licensure in Alabama within three (3) months of beginning work on the contract.  This license must be current (not revoked, suspended, or lapsed in registration), valid (the issuing authority accepts and considers QA information (i.e. practitioner professional performance and conduct in determining continued licenses)), and unrestricted (not subject to restriction pertaining to the scope, location, or type of practice ordinarily granted to other applicants for similar licenses in granting jurisdiction).    Contract service providers must meet all credentialing requirements for the MTF where they will be providing services.  Experience:  A minimum of two (2) years within the past five (5) years in the practice of clinical psychology , preferably in a Government setting such as a DOD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MTF and providing clinical services to individuals, couples or groups in clinical psychotherapy services.  The Contractor shall ensure that the contract service provider has sufficient training and experience to effectively provide psychological services for service members and family members.  Related experience will not be accepted in lieu of degree or license requirements.  Two years of active military service is preferred.  It is mandatory that the contract service provider be SERE Level-C certified through the Joint Personnel Recovery Agency (JPRA).  If a second psychologist is hired on the contract, that psychologist may be hired under the condition that he/she completes the SERE Level-C training curriculum and obtains certification through JPRA before viewing any of the training.  Emergency Medical Technician – ParamedicSummaryThe senior HCP EMT-P at the site shall be in charge of emergency treatment at the scene. Details: Job Responsibilities: In this role, you are responsible for creating a spirit of hospitality in the Front-of-the-House through creating a warm and positive environment, selecting friendly and talented Co-workers, leading the human and financial resources in the Front-of-the-House to achieve a profitable operation and environment that 'makes pleasurable dining affordable,' while providing a dining experience that ensures our guests become long term loyal customers. As a member of the restaurant operations management team, you are also responsible for the restaurant's overall operations, including food quality, production, safety, and labor in absence of the General Manager and Kitchen Manager.   Other Requirements:  Hours of work for this position are approximately 55-58 hours per week. Position requires standing and walking for periods of 2-5 hours without a rest break, and task sequencing and the completion of complex administrative responsibilities. Occasional moderate to heavy (10-25+lb) lifting and carrying, bending and reaching overhead may be required. Work environment includes heavy customer contact, working with cooking equipment and slippery walking surfaces. Position is under minimum levels of day-to-day supervision. Some travel may be required for training and operations meetings.
